Portfolio Strategy Intern

Orion is seeking a Portfolio Strategy Intern to support its investment team and portfolio strategy operations. The role focuses on portfolio analysis, investment due diligence, presentation and marketing materials, data gathering, file maintenance, and general administrative projects.

What you'll do:

• Assist in completing analysis on client portfolios and generating proposals
• Provide due diligence support to the investment team
• Compile materials for Investment Committee presentations
• Participate in due diligence phone calls and meetings
• Assist in preparing and compiling end of quarter marketing materials and reports
• Maintain files in compliance with applicable legal requirements
• Assume other general administrative duties as assigned (faxing, scanning, copying, etc.)
• Assist with data gathering and spreadsheet preparation for projects as assigned
• Assist in gathering requested information and files
• Assist with projects assigned by Manager

What they're looking for:

• Has a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Is at least a current student in Junior or Senior standing working towards a bachelor's degree in an applicable field
• Possess prior experience in general administrative or customer service duties
• Obtain Orion Industry Certification
• Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
• Candidates should be located within a commutable distance to an office
• Three (3) or more days each week required on-site at one of the listed office locations
