Portfolio Strategy Intern - Summer 2027

McKesson is an impact-driven healthcare company delivering insights, products, and services to improve access to quality care. The Portfolio Strategy Intern will support Commercial Strategy & Innovation by conducting customer and market research, tracking product performance, and developing evidence-based strategic recommendations for healthcare innovation.

What you'll do:

• Analyze customer intelligence:Explore primary and secondary customer research methodologies and how to apply them in business settings
• Gather and analyze market intelligence: Conduct competitive market research to uncover trends and use them to formulate product strategy
• Build compelling strategic recommendations: Synthesize collected information into evidence-based strategic recommendations that direct future actions
• Gain experience in healthcare strategy: Join a Center of Excellence to learn how healthcare innovation works from start to finish

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field
• Experience assisting or leading research activities, such as interviews, focus groups, statistical analysis, document review, evaluation, etc
• Excited about complex healthcare challenges
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Solid interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to present to cross functional audiences and leaders
