About this role

Phoenix Group of Virginia is seeking a Power Platform Engineer to develop and maintain low-code applications and workflows using Microsoft Power Platform. The role also leads testing and validation, collaborates with development teams and stakeholders, and ensures solutions comply with security, data governance, and organizational policies.

What you'll do:

  • Develop, document, and maintain scalable, high-quality apps and automations
  • Test apps and flows to ensure stability
  • Collaborate with the Development team and stakeholders
  • Adhere to industry best practices and standards
  • Identifying cross-app or cross flow impacts from changes
  • Balance user requirements with platform limitations
  • Ensures compliance with security, data governance, and organizational policies
  • Anticipate and address potential automation or system conflicts

What they're looking for:

  • 1+ years of full-time work experience developing systems in Power Apps and Power Automate
  • Must have ability to obtain and maintain U.S. SECRET clearance
  • Must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and writing skills
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to technical and nontechnical users
  • Knowledgeable of information contained in Microsoft Power Platform courses (PL-200, PL-400, PL-7001, PL-7002)
  • Ability to liaise between the Government, Military, and Contractor Representatives, and Organizations
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required
