About this role
Regeneron is seeking a 2027 Co-op in Precision Medicine Operations to join its Samples, Kits, Data, and Logistics (SKDL) team, which supports clinical laboratory operations through automation tools, data pipelines, and web applications.
This full-time, onsite position is based in Armonk, NY, from May/June through December (Summer-Fall). The hourly pay range is $17.90–$50.90, determined by education level and degree program.
## What you’ll do
- Survey candidate workflows across Precision Medicine Operations to identify gaps and high-impact automation opportunities.
- Build proof-of-concept solutions, such as dashboards, visualizations, and integrations, that reduce manual effort.
- Write and test code in Python and/or R to support automation and data-pipeline development.
- Apply large language models (LLMs) to automation tasks where appropriate.
- Generate insights from clinical trial and biological data to support treatment-response research.
- Collaborate with functional experts across Precision Medicine Operations and partners in Data Management and Global Development IT.
- Document technical work clearly, including setup steps, limitations, and maintenance needs.Relevant majors: Bioinformatics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
## Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree, and returning to school the semester following the position or graduating after the position.
- Must be able to commit to 40 hours per week from January–August, May/June–December, or August–December.
- Demonstrated leadership in campus activities, clubs, sports, current or previous work, or the community is preferred.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
