JOB OVERVIEW – Supply and repair all needed items for make ready and support the web presses as needed.

                                                                                                    

2 – REPORTS TO – PMR Lead – (dotted line to Web Lead)

           

3 – SAFETY AWARENESS – Lifting and pulling heavy objects, handling sharp objects, small hand movements.

 

4 – JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 

            4.1 – KEY JOB – Locate, prepare and bring needed items to Web staging area (dies, print cylinder, pin cylinder).  Bring job jacket to web and review schedule progress and changes.  After job, review items and return to them to proper area in PMR.

             

4.2 – OTHER JOB – Fill in as needed, assist on make ready, provide technical help, assist other departments as needed , Perform other duties as necessary.

          

4.3 – AREA – Keep PMR area clean and organized.  Keep staging and return area around presses clear.

          

          

5 – DETAILS

 

            5.1 - Find and Pull die and take it to Press staging area

          5.2 – Find and prepare plate, check for damage

          5.3 – Pin the pin cylinder

          5.4 – Take job and jacket to press

          5.5 – Hi-lite schedule last

          5.6 – Keep track of job

5.7 – When job is down, go to press and get die, check die tag for correct info, then put die up, go get printing plate and check it for damage, then put plate up, go get pin cylinder (whatever order necessary)

5.8 – When schedule is caught up build dies or lay plates or whatever needs to be done in PMR
