Premium Accountant - Hartford, CT Office (Hybrid)

HSB - Hartford Steam Boiler is seeking a Premium Accountant for their Finance team. In this role, you will perform general accounting functions and assist with generating reports and analyses while meeting tight deadlines.

What you'll do:

• Perform general accounting functions associated with Finance Department
• Provide assistance with the generation of monthly and quarterly reports to management and assistance with a variety of other reports and analysis
• Meet tight deadlines and activities in a timely and accurate manner

What they're looking for:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience
• 1+ year's of Accounting experience is required
• Strong PC skills (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Working knowledge of PeopleSoft nVision and query tools
• Organization skills
• Strong Time management skills
• Strong communications skills (written and verbal)
• Good analytical skills
• 3+ year's of Accounting experience is desired
• Experience with PeopleSoft ERP
• General accounting experience in insurance industry
