About this role
Company Overview
Intuit is the global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for the people and communities we serve. With approximately 100 million customers worldwide using products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.
Job Overview
At Intuit, our mission is powering prosperity around the world — and our Sales team is one of the most direct paths to delivering on that promise for millions of small businesses, consumers, and self-employed customers. The Sales Strategy & Transformation team drives the growth and strategic evolution of how we sell: designing new selling motions, building the GTM case for our highest-priority market opportunities, and ensuring our most critical initiatives have the rigor, speed, and executive narrative to land. As a Principal on this team, you'll sit at the center of strategy and execution, partnering closely with Sales leadership to shape how Intuit grows.
Responsibilities
- Design and launch new sales motions from concept through execution, working across segments, channels, and cross-functional partners to bring them to life
- Analyze seller productivity data — including ramp curves, tenure, and rep deployment — and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for sales leadership
- Build GTM strategies for high-priority market opportunities, defining revenue targets, seller profiles, and go-to-market approach from the ground up
- Size and frame new market opportunities; define resource requirements and model revenue potential with rigor and a clear point of view
- Conduct research on market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform and sharpen sales strategy
- Write and own executive-ready memos, briefings, and narratives that accelerate leadership decisions and drive alignment
- Own and contribute to the strategic priority cadence and executive briefing rhythm for the Sales Leadership Team
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Sales Operations, and HR to ground recommendations in solid, integrated analysis
- Lead change management and cross-functional coordination for the strategic initiatives you own end-to-end
- Build and deploy AI agents, simulations, or automated workflows to accelerate strategy testing, scenario modeling, and decision-making
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in sales strategy, GTM strategy, or management consulting with a significant focus on sales and go-to-market — management consulting background at a top-tier strategy firm strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience designing or optimizing a sales motion: seller productivity framework, coverage model, new GTM play, or selling motion build
- Track record of leading strategic initiatives end-to-end at a large, complex organization — from problem definition through landing with senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical modeling skills with the ability to distill complex data into exec-ready recommendations with a clear, defensible point of view
- Proven ability to write and deliver high-stakes executive narratives — memos, briefings, QBR-style artifacts — that move leaders to action
- Experience influencing and aligning senior stakeholders without direct authority
- Hands-on experience building or deploying AI agents, LLM-based tools, or agentic systems to accelerate strategy work or automate decision workflows; curiosity and drive to keep learning as the AI landscape evolves
- Experience at a Fortune 500 technology or SaaS company with a multi-segment sales organization preferred
- Familiarity with seller productivity analytics — ramp curves, tenure analysis, rep deployment modeling — preferred
- Familiarity with SMB software, fintech, or accounting/tax software markets preferred
