Position Duties
The Print/Mail Production Supervisor leads staff, oversees high-speed mail inserting machines, and ensures that important materials are processed on time. This role supports daily operations, equipment maintenance, inventory control, and staff development in a fast-moving work environment. As a Print/Mail Production Supervisor, you will perform the following duties:
- Staff Supervision: Direct machine operators, provide training, and evaluate performance standards
- Machine Management: Oversee preparation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mail inserting equipment
- Workflow Planning: Organize and delegate daily tasks to support timely and accurate processing
- Quality Control: Perform form accountability checks and review work for accuracy and compliance
- Inventory Oversight: Track supplies, order materials, and manage storage space for envelopes and inserts
- Reporting Duties: Prepare production reports and maintain detailed maintenance and processing records

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

Minimum Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Print Production Technician (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year as a Mail Production Team Leader (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years of experience in the operation of print or mail insertion equipment or similar machinery used in a print or mail production facility; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
