About this role
Match Group is a leading provider of dating products across the globe. Our portfolio includes Tinder, Hinge, Match, Meetic, PlentyOfFish, OkCupid, The League, HER, and others, each designed to spark meaningful connections for singles worldwide. Creating a sense of belonging doesn’t stop at our products - it’s the foundation of every team we hire.
We're looking for a Privacy Analyst based in New York to join our global Privacy Team.
This role is focused on privacy-by-design: partnering closely with product, engineering, trust & safety, and Legal stakeholders to help embed privacy into the development of some of the world's most recognized consumer dating apps, with a particular focus on Hinge.
You'll play an ownership role in triaging, tracking, conducting, and documenting complex privacy reviews, including privacy-by-design reviews (PbDs), data protection impact assessments (DPIAs), and legitimate interest assessments (LIAs) — all helping to ensure that innovative features and initiatives are developed responsibly and in compliance with global privacy laws.
Drawing on your privacy knowledge, you'll help translate complex regulatory requirements– including GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA, and emerging global requirements related to privacy, cybersecurity, and AI–into clear, practical guidance for cross-functional teams.
You’ll also have the autonomy to develop and improve playbooks and processes to maximize efficiency without sacrificing quality.

Our Strategy & Operations team is a nimble group that partners with senior leaders across Match Group and our portfolio businesses on their most important strategic priorities. The team shapes the company’s long-term direction by bringing analytical rigor, strategic foresight, and clear operational guidance. We bridge high-level vision and day-to-day execution, ensuring the organization is aligned and moving effectively toward shared goals. As Manager, Strategy & Operations, you will act as an internal strategy consultant to executive leadership and the Match Group brands. You will lead or support high-impact initiatives, helping define strategic direction and translating insights into actionable plans. You should be equally comfortable diving into data, synthesizing findings into recommendations, and partnering across teams to bring proposals to life. You will report to the Senior Director, Strategy & Operations, and work closely with peers across Strategy, Operations, and Consumer Research. As part of a corporate team supporting a portfolio of brands, you will engage with a wide range of senior stakeholders and adapt seamlessly to different business needs, work styles, and communication preferences.
This salary range is reflective of New York, NY. For all other locations, this salary may be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
How you’ll make an impact:
Partner with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and legal colleagues to coordinate reviews of new products, features, and data uses to identify and flag risks early in the development lifecycle.
Conduct and document privacy assessments as required under global privacy laws.
Build or improve scalable processes, templates, and tools that support efficient and consistent intake, coordination, and review.
Help translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into practical, product-focused guidance.
Stay current on global privacy developments and help apply new requirements to existing features and workflows.
Support the implementation of Match Group's global privacy program and contribute to portfolio-wide privacy governance initiatives.
Support audits and assessments of privacy practices in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
We may be a Match if you:
What’s the team like?
- Take the Lead: We don't ghost our work or each other. Just as users don't leave their matches hanging, we don't let each other down.
- Move Fast: We have a bias for action and urgency. Something that could be done tomorrow would be better if done today.
- Better Together: We keep connection at the heart of dating and at the heart of how we work. Just as our users are better when they connect with others, so are we when we collaborate.
- Real Talk: We say the hard thing the human way. Just as we ask our users to behave with kindness and candor in our community, we expect all of us to do the same.
- Safety First: We act with integrity, transparency, and consistency so people feel safe—whether they're swiping, matching, or working alongside us.
- Spark Fun: We have fun to unlock creativity, fuel innovation, and help us build better experiences for daters.
