PRN Inpatient Psychiatrist

Novant Health is seeking a PRN Psychiatrist to cover shifts at Forsyth Medical Center and Thomasville Medical Center

Opportunity Highlights:

• Day Shift 
• Inpatient Psychiatrist will be caring for assigned patients on our 51-bed adult unit
• Option to pick up shifts at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC and Thomasville Medical Center in Thomasville, NC

Candidate Qualifications:

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry
• Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required 
• Current MD license in appropriate state 
• Current DEA license required 

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Patient population: 18+ for acute care
• Complete daily rounding and timely documentation on assigned patients
• Collaborative approach with multidisciplinary treatment team that includes providers, nursing, therapy and support staff
