About this role
Rolling Hills Hospital is a behavioral health facility dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality psychiatric and behavioral healthcare services. The PRN Recruiter supports the Human Resources Department with recruitment, candidate sourcing, onboarding, and talent acquisition initiatives, while maintaining recruitment operations and supporting staffing needs.
What you'll do:
- Source, screen, and interview qualified candidates for open positions
- Coordinate interviews and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring managers
- Maintain candidate activity and requisitions within iCIMS and other recruitment systems
- Ensure job postings are current across internal and external job boards
- Assist with candidate selection and hiring recommendations
- Coordinate pre-employment processes, including background checks, drug screens, I-9 verification, and reference checks
- Communicate onboarding requirements and timelines to candidates
- Assist in ensuring all required employment documentation is completed accurately and timely
- Support New Employee Orientation activities as assigned
- Participate in job fairs, hiring events, community outreach programs, and recruitment initiatives
- Develop and maintain candidate pipelines to support ongoing hiring needs
- Promote the organization as an employer of choice within the community
What they're looking for:
- Associate's degree required
- Equivalent combination of education and recruitment experience may be considered
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and community partners
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel locally for recruitment events and job fairs as needed
- Flexible schedule availability based on staffing and recruitment needs
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred
- Previous recruiting, staffing, human resources, customer service, or healthcare experience preferred
