Responsibilities
Position Overview
Join our 10-week program in our Research & Development process engineering team to gain an understanding of the department's initiatives by working with R&D and operations to solve issues at Bob Evans manufacturing facilities. Projects could include but are not limited to assisting BEF R&D with process optimization for new product launches and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsible for positively impacting Bob Evan’s business and consumers by completing challenging and meaningful projects. Accountabilities
- Work on process standardization throughout multiple sku’s
- Create process diagrams based on standard processes
- Collaborate with operations and project engineering to assist with new project implementation
- Assist with product trials
- Work with continuous improvement to identify waste/inefficiencies contributing to downtime or yield loss within production
- Work with product scientists to create/adjust manufacturing specs
- Manage multiple assignments/tasks
- Travel to multiple BEF plants/locations

Qualifications
Education
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
Skills & Attributes
Strong written and oral communication, collaboration skills and business presence
Problem solving mindset
Working knowledge of Vizio
Working knowledge of chemistry and thermodynamics
Ability to create/read process drawings
Demonstrate sound judgment and ability to apply logical/critical thought processes when developing solutions
A strong interest in the CPG industry is a plus
