In this role, you will provide vital support to the department’s centralized procurement operations.

The salary indicated represents a base pay rate.  If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck.  A pay differential does not raise your base pay.

Responsibilities - What you’ll do

  • Process and review daily mail for completeness to be used to procure goods and services for the Deparment.  
  • Process contract documents and Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). 
  • Run and update daily and monthly reports.
  • Establishes and maintains filing systems, scanning of contracts and prepeare documents for archiving.    
  • Answer phones and email communications assisting customer and directing them to the apporiate staff.  
  • Utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Internet, and the state's financial systems.
  • Perform other related work as assigned.

Qualifications - All you need for success

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience. (substitutions may be allowed).
  • Experience in Microsoft Office. (Word, Excel, Access and Outlook)
  • Communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail, analytical skills, and reporting capabilities. 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
