About this role
MillerKnoll creates modern workplace and residential furnishings designed to support people and communities. The Product Data Technician works across business functions to structure and maintain master data throughout the product lifecycle, including bills of material, purchased parts, finish options, and routings. The role analyzes engineering and departmental information, resolves data issues, and coordinates product data updates.
What you'll do:
- Take ownership of assigned Product lines. Review drawing and Engineering Change Order (ECN/ECO) to determine changes required
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues to ensure order process issues are resolved
- Communicate proactively to clarify issues with master data requirements
- Communicate proposed solutions and make modifications as required based on feedback
- Work with MillerKnoll Procurement and Planning to create purchased parts as specified in ECN/ECO
- Work with MillerKnoll Operations to create and input manufacturing and procurement routings and bills of material
- Acts as an integral member of the Product Data team:
- Fluidly manages multiple concurrent assignments
- Initiate timely communication of Product Line progress and challenges
- Actively participates in team meetings
- Ability to work flexible hours

- Minimum one year of experience in an office environment
- Analytical and mathematical aptitude
- Problem solving and innovative thinking skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
- Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple projects concurrently
- Methodical approach to work, attention to detail, solution oriented
- Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings
- Above average ability to think logically, analytically, and innovatively to solve problems
- Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes used in consumer product applications
- Strong oral and written communication skills to facilitate interactions with colleagues at all levels of the organization
- Bachelors Degree in Business/IT/Math or related field preferred
- 1-3 years related work experience
