As a Product Delivery Manager for Container Platforms, you will serve as Application Owner for Gaia Kubernetes Platform and drive Controls & Compliance-related deliverables (Audits, Reviews, Breaks).
As a Product Delivery Manager in Compute Infrastructure Container Platforms team, you work to enhance and optimize the way products are delivered to customers. As a key member of the team, you create solutions and efficiencies that enable successful implementations in an expedient and organized way.  You will provide subject matter expertise and technical guidance to technology-aligned process owners, ensuring that implemented controls operate effectively and in compliance with regulatory, legal, and industry standards. By partnering with various stakeholders, including Product Owners, Business Control Managers, and Regulators, you will contribute to the reporting of a comprehensive view of technology risk posture and its impact on the business. Your advanced knowledge of risk management principles, practices, and theories will enable you to drive innovative solutions and effectively manage a diverse team in a dynamic and evolving risk landscape.
 

Our team defines engineers, and operates modern platforms for application and service runtimes. This includes Kubernetes and Cloud Foundry.

 
Job responsibilities
  • Leads end-to-end product delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while escalating opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination
  • Leads the completion of change management activities across functional partners and ensures adherence to the firm’s risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Effectively manages timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers, ensuring adequate resourcing, and liaising with stakeholders and functional partners 
  • Ensure all AO Comms impacting Container Platforms are understood and epics are defined for all deliverables in coordination with Product Management. 
  • Represents GKP on controls/compliance related meetings
  • Be a stakeholder on epics for deliverables related to audits, reviews, breaks. Participate in DevOps Refinement meetings for those epics. 
  • Advise on any controls requirements and questions raised by SRE Squad during refinement & design
  • Ensure Container Platform products meet CAF, PCI and SOC compliance. 
  • Ensure technology risk impacting the private cloud is effectively identified, quantified, communicated and managed. 
  • Interface with Lead ISM's Technology Leadership and Application Development teams on an on-going basis for business and usage risk activities, reporting and project initiatives.
  • Serve as a point of escalation and subject matter expert for Product Risk, including vulnerability management, information security related to cloud and application security. 
 
 
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product delivery or a relevant domain area
  • Demonstrated ability to execute operational management and change readiness activities
  • Strong understanding of delivery and a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement processes
  • Experience in product or platform-wide release management, in addition to deployment processes and strategies 
  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in Application Ownership, technology risk management, or related field, emphasizing risk identification, assessment, and mitigation
  • Strong working knowledge of Kubernetes

  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
