Product Development Intern

Agropur is a dairy cooperative offering an internship in a dairy manufacturing environment. The Product Development Intern will support assigned product development projects, conduct and analyze experiments, evaluate dairy products, document findings, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and present project outcomes.

What you'll do:

• Support product development projects from benchtop testing through plant trials
• Assist in planning, executing, and analyzing experiments to support innovation and product improvements
• Develop, test, and evaluate dairy products to ensure they meet project objectives and performance requirements
• Document research findings and communicate results with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality, and Plant Leadership
• Collaborate with Product Development professionals to understand product development processes, challenges, and best practices
• Gain exposure to dairy industry trends, regulations, and product innovation initiatives
• Present project outcomes, recommendations, and key learnings at the conclusion of the internship

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Interest in research and development, product innovation, and food manufacturing
