Qorvo’s Internship Program

Qorvo’s Internship Program is designed for college students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program. Qorvo offers real work experience, exposure to upper management, and the opportunity to pursue full-time opportunities, as available.

Qorvo’s Product Engineering Internships are offered in our Advanced Cellular, Connect & Sensor, and High Performance Analog business groups. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Developing test plans:
    • Coordinating with Design, Test, Application and Quality engineering to create and maintain high volume production test plans which are utilized to guarantee product data sheet compliance and manufacturing defect detection/screening
  • Maximizing product test yield:
    • Employing appropriate Statistical Process Control principles to monitor and control process variability
    • Compiling and analyzing test data using common statistical techniques (Time-Series Analysis, Capability Analysis, Anova, Multivariate, etc.)
  • Leading and participating in issue resolution projects:
    • Engaging in group problem-solving and process improvement projects utilizing lean methodologies

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Analog/Digital/RF circuit design coursework and/or experience
  • Knowledge scripting languages such as SQL, Python, R, and/or JSL
  • Preferred software experience: ADS, Candence, Spotfire, and JMP preferred
  • Must have strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Detail oriented self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective organization skills for systematic planning and scheduling
