Product Management Analyst

American Greetings is a company that specializes in consumer products, and they are seeking a Product Management Analyst to support the development and execution of strategic plans for their Celebrations product category. The Analyst will analyze market data and collaborate with various teams to enhance product offerings and ensure timely delivery of key information.

What you'll do:

• Supports development of master product catalogue (including size, contents, price mix, and COGS) and collaborates with Occasion and Creative teams to add new items to master catalogue as needed
• Responsible for analyzing point-of-sale data, consumer research, retail observations, industry trends, etc., to inform price and format mix within a master catalogue as well as product refresh
• Gathers and organizes insights in a manner that guides strategic thinking and retail strategy development
• Understands the key drivers of perceived value and cost of goods for assigned category
• Responsible for the on-time and accurate delivery of occasion line lists, consisting of documentation of key item-level information
• Supports cost management efforts for assigned category
• Supports continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on simplification

What they're looking for:

• 1+ years of prior retail/consumer product experience, or equivalent internship work, demonstrating ability to support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is critical
• Demonstrates the following Leadership Competencies: Inspirational Leadership, Highly Collaborative, Customer Centric, Accountability, Results Focused, Financial Acumen
• Demonstrates the following Category Team Strategic Capabilities: Analytical Skills, Communication/Presentation Skills, Project Management Skills, Consumer Insight, Product Aptitude
• Strong PC skills to include excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Bachelors of Science in Business/Marketing or related degree
