Product Management Intern

JLG, an Oshkosh company, provides innovative equipment and support solutions for the access industry. The Product Management Intern will collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers on product definition, market and competitive analysis, product configuration updates, data consolidation, and presentations.

What you'll do:

• Work with Product Management team in Product Definition Development and help translate VoC/market intelligence into evidence supported attributes
• Work with the Product Management team to analyze market informed VoC data, “Jobs to be Done” and identify trends that may enhance offerings
• Develop/ Demonstrate strong verbal, written, presentation competencies
• Ensure system updates/product configurations are completed and aligned with customer facing documentation, update as needed
• Structure and Evaluate Market Data, Competitive Comparison Data, Take Rates, Options, to inform project priorities, etc
• Shadow Product Specialist/Managers during activities such as meeting setup, meeting minutes, and key takeaways
• Learn more about Consolidating & Analyzing Secondary Market Data and Competitive Data
• Consolidate & Analyze Competitive Data
• Participate in year-end Intern Expo

What they're looking for:

• Student working towards a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field or other related field
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Previous experience or heightened interest in mechanical design
• Experience in extracurricular activities outside academic requirements
• Knowledge of construction industry and equipment used
