About this role
IBM is a technology and consulting company that develops infrastructure, cloud, AI, and enterprise technology solutions. The Product Management Intern will support product strategy, market analysis, roadmap planning, product performance tracking, and go-to-market initiatives while collaborating with Product Managers and cross-functional stakeholders.
What you'll do:
- 1) Partner with Product Managers to support the planning, development, and execution of product initiatives
- 2) Assist with market research, customer insights, and competitive analysis to help inform product decisions
- 3) Help track product performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
- 4) Research industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to support product innovation
- 5) Prepare presentations, recommendations, and insights for stakeholders and project teams
- 6) Gain experience with product management tools, frameworks, and processes used to bring products to market
What they're looking for:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimally, the incumbent will be open to work in either Austin, TX or Poughkeepsie, NY and will possess:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Interest in product or offering management, digital transformation, or enterprise IT services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional, global teams
- Ability to drive relentlessly towards a business target
- Must be a self-starter with an excellent ability to work independently
- Bachelor's Degree
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in: Business, Computer Science, Marketing, Information Technology, Data Sciences or related majors
- The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated curiosity and adaptability in learning new technologies as well as have experience with or a working knowledge of:
- Product lifecycle management, project management discipline, agile development, or service design
