About this role

Labconco Corporation has been a leader in designing and manufacturing innovative laboratory equipment for nearly a century. They are seeking a Product Manager to drive the growth and lifecycle management of scientific products, working closely with various teams to identify market opportunities and support new product development.

What you'll do:

  • Support and/or lead the management of products throughout their lifecycle, including product launches, updates, enhancements, and discontinuations
  • Analyze customer needs, laboratory applications, market trends, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and innovation
  • Gather, maintain, and leverage market intelligence and competitive information to strengthen product positioning and business decisions
  • Participate in and/or lead product development initiatives by gathering customer input, documenting requirements, and partnering with engineering and manufacturing teams
  • Create and maintain product documentation, sales tools, presentations, application notes, literature, online content, and promotional materials
  • Prepare and analyze product-related data including sales performance, product profitability, market trends, and growth opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing Communications, and Customer Service to ensure successful product execution
  • Provide technical, application, and product support to internal teams, channel partners, and customers
  • Support product training initiatives and help build product knowledge throughout the organization
  • Participate in customer visits, industry events, trade shows, and field activities to deepen market understanding and strengthen customer relationships

  • Ability to develop and deliver engaging technical presentations and training sessions to audiences with varying levels of scientific, technical, and industry knowledge, translating complex concepts into clear, actionable information
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a cross-functional environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10–20% as needed
  • Experience with technical instrumentation, pharmaceutical containment, and/or inert glove boxes for chemistry or materials science
  • Recent graduates with relevant internships, co-op experience, laboratory experience, or business exposure
  • Early-career professionals seeking to grow into product management
  • Experienced product managers, product marketers, application specialists, engineers, or scientists looking to apply their expertise in a business-focused role
