Product Manager (Private Label)

Benco Dental is a family-owned company dedicated to driving dentistry forward. They are seeking a Private Label Product Manager responsible for strategic development, sourcing, commercialization, and lifecycle management of their private-label portfolio, collaborating with various teams to ensure product success.

What you'll do:

• Develop and execute category strategies for Benco Dental™ and ValuLine® private-label products aligned with company growth and profitability goals
• Identify new product opportunities based on customer needs, sales feedback, market trends, and competitive analysis
• Build and maintain product roadmaps and lifecycle plans, including product launches, enhancements, and rationalization
• Monitor product performance and recommend actions to improve revenue, margin, and market adoption
• Lead end-to-end product development from ideation through commercialization and post-launch optimization
• Define product requirements, specifications, positioning, and pricing strategies
• Coordinate packaging, branding, labeling, and product documentation in partnership with Marketing and Regulatory teams
• Support go-to-market planning, sales enablement materials, and internal training
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, safety, and quality standards
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard manufacturing partners and suppliers for private-label programs
• Negotiate pricing, supply agreements, MOQs, and contractual terms in collaboration with Supply Chain and Finance
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure product quality, on-time delivery, and cost stability

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, or related field required
• 1-3+ years of product management, category management, sourcing, or related experience
• Strong analytical and financial acumen
• Vendor negotiation and sourcing experience
• Project management and organizational skills
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and product lifecycle tools/systems
• Experience with private-label, healthcare, dental, medical, or consumable products preferred
• Demonstrated success managing cross-functional projects and product launches
