About this role
SES Space & Defense delivers secure, resilient connectivity and integrated space solutions for government, defense, and national security customers. The company seeks an early-career Product Marketing Manager to translate complex space, network, communications, and technology capabilities into compelling messaging, sales enablement materials, and go-to-market strategies.
What you'll do:
- Translate complex space, network, software, terminal, and communications capabilities into clear positioning, messaging, value propositions, and customer-facing narratives
- Develop product briefs, presentations, solution overviews, web content, talking points, and other tools that help Sales and Business Development communicate our value effectively
- Partner with Product Management and commercial teams on GTM planning, product introductions, launches, campaigns, and market activation
- Research U.S. Government and defense missions, priorities, technology trends, procurement environments, and competitors to help sharpen how SES Space & Defense goes to market
- Manage assigned projects from initial brief through final delivery, coordinating SMEs, stakeholders, approvals, and agency partners
- Help maintain product messaging, value propositions, proof points, and sales assets so teams across the company are telling a consistent and differentiated story
What they're looking for:
- Approximately **1–3 years of experience** in product marketing, technology marketing, B2B marketing, public-sector marketing, sales enablement, or a related field
- Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to make complex technology understandable and compelling
- Intellectual curiosity and an interest in **defense, national security, space, satellite communications, networking, or emerging technology**
- Ability to research unfamiliar subjects, learn quickly, and turn information into actionable messaging
- Strong project-management and organizational skills
- Confidence working across technical, commercial, and creative teams
- Familiarity with presentation and content-development tools such as PowerPoint, Google Slides, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or similar platforms
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience in telecommunications or satellite communications along with knowledge of the federal market is valuable
