Product Merchandising Internship - Summer 2027

Casey's is a growing retail company that provides interns with meaningful work, professional development, and opportunities to collaborate with industry professionals. The Product Merchandising Intern will analyze sales, pricing, category, inventory, and competitive data to identify trends and provide insights that support profitable product sales.

What you'll do:

• Assist the Center of Store Merchandising team to analyze and interpret sales data from over 2,900 stores and seven regions across 19 states
• Understand the impact and effect that pricing can have on product category sales volume, margin, and profitability
• Identify trends in data from multiple sources and provide insights that will help drive profitable sales for the company
• Identify areas of opportunity for the salty snacks product category
• Measure product affinities between pizza and fountain drinks
• Research competitive pricing trends in beverages
• Category performance analysis
• Store group analysis
• Database set up
• Inventory efficiency analysis
• Evaluate the success of candy promotions

What they're looking for:

• Current Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business or related field
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
• Ability to exercise independent judgment
