Product Operations Analyst

Entergy is hiring a Product Operations Analyst to provide data-driven insights and recommendations to its product management team. The role analyzes and optimizes utility product and service operations, supports process improvement and regulatory compliance, and collaborates across teams to improve efficiency, reliability, and customer experience.

What you'll do:

• Gather and analyze operational data related to the products and services, such as usage patterns, service reliability, maintenance activities, and resource utilization
• Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational improvements
• Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the operational processes supporting the utility's products and services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance product performance, customer experience, and regulatory compliance
• Comprehensive inventory management, lifecycle optimization, utilization analysis, cost control, risk mitigation, compliance adherence, and data-driven reporting to support effective product asset management and strategic decision-making
• Analyze the utilization and allocation of resources (e.g., personnel, equipment, infrastructure) required to support the utility's product operations
• Provide recommendations on resource optimization to ensure efficient and cost-effective product delivery
• Monitor the operational performance of the utility's products and services to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies
• Identify and address any operational issues that may impact regulatory compliance
• Monitor the operations of the product (assets, etc.) to ensure optimal operational performance
• Investigate and analyze product-related incidents, outages, and service disruptions to determine root causes and develop mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with the product management and operations teams and/or 3rd party vendors to implement corrective actions and prevent future occurrences

• Bachelor's Degree in technical or business-related field or equivalent work experience
• Analyst I: 0-2 years of relevant professional experience
• Analyst II: 2-4 years of relevant professional experience
• Analyst III: 4-6 years of relevant professional experience
• Analyst Sr: 6-8 years of relevant professional experience
• Analyst Sr Lead: 8+ years of relevant professional experience
• Strong data collection, analysis, and interpretation skills, with the ability to derive meaningful insights from complex datasets
• Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, and Power BI
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
• Requires conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within a discipline
• Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or experience
• Experience with utility, specifically products or programs
