About this role
Evertree Insurance is seeking a junior Product Operations Analyst to support its Product team in a fast-paced, fully remote environment. The role focuses on documenting processes and requirements, administering product and work management tools, maintaining backlogs, supporting Agile ceremonies, reporting metrics, coordinating stakeholders, and assisting with QA, training, and tool migration.
What you'll do:
- Support the Product team with documentation of processes, product decisions, and workflows
- Help gather, write, and organize business and functional requirements in partnership with Product Managers and stakeholders
- Serve as the administrator for our product/work management tool once the team selects a replacement for Azure DevOps, including configuration, user access, workflows, and integrations
- Keep the tool and its supporting documentation (workflows, templates, guides) accurate and up to date as team needs evolve
- Assist with maintaining backlog hygiene by grooming, labeling, and organizing tickets and boards so work stays easy to track and report on
- Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retro meetings by taking notes and tracking action items through to completion
- Pull basic status reports and metrics from the tool (e.g., velocity, ticket aging, throughput) to keep Product Managers and leadership informed
- Assist with stakeholder communication and meeting planning by helping schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and follow up with stakeholders on outstanding items
- Assist with business QA by reviewing new features and releases from a business and end user perspective, validating data accuracy and workflows, to confirm they meet documented requirements before launch
- Assist with training internal stakeholders on new features and releases so teams understand what's changing and how to use it
- Review incoming feature requests and bug cases from internal stakeholders for completeness and urgency, and help track them through to delivery
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and other business stakeholders across the organization to keep requirements, documentation, and tooling aligned
What they're looking for:
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in business analysis, QA, product/business operations, project coordination, or a similar role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
- Highly organized, process-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable learning new software and technology quickly
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fully remote environment
- A curious, proactive mindset and willingness to learn
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Excel preferred
- Experience with work management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or Monday.com is a plus
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus
- Basic understanding of QA/testing concepts is a plus
Benefits:
- Vacation & Sick Days
- 11 paid holidays, plus additional “floater” holidays
- Health, dental, & vision benefit offerings
- 401(k) with company matching
- Flexible Spending Account
