PRODUCT PRICING ANALYST

Smalley is the global manufacturing leader of precision metal formed products, known for their innovative solutions and commitment to quality. The Product Pricing Analyst will assist the Product Management team with customer-related matters requiring evaluation, data analysis, and collaboration, focusing on pricing agreements and cost validation to improve profitability.

What you'll do:

• Responsible for review and analysis of customer pricing proposals and Smalley’s product cost inputs
• Develop sales, pricing and margin strategy as a key member of the Estimating Team
• Sales, pricing and contract negotiations
• Actively support Estimating, Sales, Customer Service, Engineering and Operations
• Develop sales and pricing strategies involving foreign affiliates and distributors
• Cost validation
• Work with key customers to complete a variety of customer documentation, including pricing letters, min/max agreements, stocking agreements, award letters, and other key commercial agreements
• Customer relationship management
• Process customer quotations
• Training, mentoring and team collaboration

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in Accounting or Finance with experience conducting data analysis
• Ability to extract and analyze data and make data-driven decisions
• Ability to organize, execute and deliver results in a timely manner
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 with strong Excel skills
• Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis
• Experience using business intelligence/analytics software a plus
• Manufacturing experience a plus
