Product Quality Analyst I (Remote)

Businessolver provides benefits technology and services through a secure SaaS platform. The Product Quality Analyst I tests web applications, Web APIs, and batch applications by creating and executing manual and automated test cases, documenting defects, and collaborating with engineers and stakeholders.

What you'll do:

• Create test cases to support business requirements of Web Applications, Web APIs and Batch Applications of all complexity levels
• Execute manual and automated test cases. Document defects thoroughly
• Experience collaborating with software engineers, business analysts, and business stake holders
• Entering test cases in test case management system to include comprehensive description of tests. Documenting test results in test case management system
• Find needles in hay stacks
• Monitoring the defect tracking systems including managing bug tracking
• Well versed with quality assurance methodologies and the SDLC
• Creative thinking and proposing solutions to grow our business by delighting our clients
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Comply with all policies and standards

What they're looking for:

• 1+ years experience in Manual or Automated Testing
• Proven ability to break software and frustrate software engineers
• Highly motivated, Innovative, self-directed thinker with an eagerness to stay up-to-date with current trends and a desire to impress
• Knowledge of Gherkin test format
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Computer Engineering
• Previous exposure to user interface development, billing/payroll modules, or import/export data files helpful
