About this role

Raytheon develops advanced electrical subsystems for aerospace and defense applications. The Production Hardware Electrical Engineer Intern will troubleshoot hardware and process issues, resolve production and testing issues, perform failure analysis, update electrical engineering drawings, and implement process or test improvements.

What you'll do:

  • Troubleshooting hardware and process issues down to CCA and component levels
  • Resolution of issues on production lines and in testing (including suppliers)
  • Failure analysis / root cause determination and corrective action implementation
  • Create and present electrical engineering drawing update solutions
  • Investigate and implement process and/or test improvement projects

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
  • Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session
  • Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session
  • Experience with one or more of the following: RF, analog, digital, mixed signal, circuit design or analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team
  • Experience in Root-Cause Corrective Action investigations
