PRODUCTION INTERN

JTI is offering a temporary Production Intern opportunity at its RMC Factory in Danville, Virginia. The role supports the implementation of IWS standards by assisting production, maintenance, electrical, and cell structure teams with equipment standards, troubleshooting instructions, spare-parts safety stock, and related duties.

What you'll do:

• Together with the production and maintenance team develop maintenance standards for line equipment
• Together with the line mechanics and electricians develop instructions for troubleshooting, equipment adjustments, and eradication of machine issues
• Work with maintenance and electrical departments to develop safety stock for spare parts
• Work with cell structure team to develop new standards of IWS Systems
• Other duties requested by the Maintenance Manager

What they're looking for:

• Candidate should be 18+ years of age
• Candidate should be working toward an Associate, Bachelor, or Master Degree in a college
• Articulate in English with good communication and written skills when dealing with individuals
• Self-Motivated, Ability to work in a team environment, open-minded
• Proficient in Computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft applications
• Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Skills a plus
