Production Planning Intern

BorgWarner is a global product leader delivering innovative and sustainable mobility solutions for the automotive industry. The Production Planning Intern will support production scheduling, material planning, inventory management, data accuracy, supplier performance tracking, and cross-functional supply chain activities in a manufacturing environment.

What you'll do:

• Assist in production scheduling and planning activities (daily/weekly schedules)
• Support material planning activities including demand vs. supply analysis
• Help maintain and improve planning data accuracy (BOMs, routings, lead times)
• Analyze inventory levels, shortages, and excess material
• Support supplier performance tracking (on time delivery, lead times)
• Participate in cross-functional meetings with production, purchasing, and logistics
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to planning and supply chain
• Document processes and create standard work where applicable

What they're looking for:

• Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
• MRP System experience preferred
