Production Supervisor
Unitex is experiencing unprecedented growth! Due to this growth, we are in search of a highly skilled Production Supervisor for our facility in Newburgh, NY
Schedule: Wednesday - Sunday 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (flexible to stay later if needed)
DO NOT APPLY IF YOU CANNOT WORK BOTH SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.
Compensation: The salary range for this position is $60,000 per year. Actual compensation decisions are based on factors such as experience, seniority, location, and other permissible job-related factors.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing daily production requirements in a fast-paced environment
- Managing, training, coaching and disciplining a team of up to 25 people
- Updating reports based on the daily productivity of their department
- Training new employees on plant equipment and safety policies
- Approving weekly department payroll
Required Skills:
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for managing people
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Solid work ethic, motivated, flexible, and a good problem solver
- MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ON SCHEDULED WEEKENDS.
