Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-330pm (may need to be flexible as business needs fluctuate)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and establish production schedules for manufacturing departments with components, assemblies, and inserts to meet production schedules; allocate work to the appropriate work center.

  • Release orders to departments and monitor material inventories, production progress, and other schedule factors.

  • Modify schedules and issue orders due to revisions, and communicate changes to impacted teams.

  • May direct production control employees in support of production schedule execution.

  • Report the daily schedule success rate and provide visibility to schedule performance.

  • Work with the corporate office, cross-functional teams, and site operations meetings to align priorities and support execution.

  • Work with CSRs and Sales on order management to support delivery expectations.

  • Extract SAP data for analysis tools and lead-time tracking.

  • Publish recommended lead times based on historical performance and production plans.

  • Coordinate with the Materials Manager and Production Manager on purchasing and supplier activity that impacts the production schedule.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or related degree/equivalent experience required.

  • Basic math/measurement & reading comprehension skills 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, or operations required; extrusion experience preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams required.

  • Experience working in an MRP environment supporting mixed build-to-order production required.

  • Ability to work in plant, warehouse, forklift, and office environments.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in variable weather and noise conditions while using required PPE.

The compensation for this position is typically start at $22.36/Hour.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
