Midlands Technical College is seeking a dedicated and student-focused Nursing Professor to join its dynamic academic team. This full-time faculty member plays a vital role in preparing future healthcare professionals by delivering high-quality instruction that integrates clinical expertise with evidence-based teaching practices. The position supports the college’s mission by fostering student success, promoting critical thinking, and cultivating the knowledge and skills necessary for excellence in the nursing profession. Through a commitment to instructional quality, student engagement, and continuous improvement, the Nursing Professor contributes to a collaborative learning environment that reflects the evolving needs of the healthcare industry and the community.

This position will be located on Midlands Technical College Airport Campus

Position Duties

Must have a Master's Degree in Nursing and at least two years recent clinical experience. Must be a Registered Nurse and currently licensed to practice nursing in South Carolina. Must be able to assist students in all aspects of nursing care. Must be able to communicate with the entire healthcare team. May be required to teach classes on multiples campus and off-campus sites, including high schools. May be required to do some evening and/or weekend clinical.

Minimum Qualifications

Teaching experience preferred.
