Program Controls Organization Financial Analyst, Junior

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a junior Program Controls Organization Financial Analyst to support contract financial management for multiple contracts. The role assists with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, contract reviews, risk mitigation, and the application of AI tools to financial analysis and process automation.

What you'll do:

• Compile, analyze, and report financial data to support program objectives
• Assist with budget development, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Monitor program expenditures and identify discrepancies or areas for improvement
• Prepare financial documentation and backup for audits and reviews
• Collaborate with finance leadership to ensure consistent tracking and communication of financial status
• Apply AI tools and techniques to enhance financial analysis, forecasting, and process automation

What they're looking for:

• Experience with program finance or business operations support, including financial reporting, forecasting, variance analyses, or contract management
• Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience using Microsoft Excel formulas, including in a financial tracking, analysis, and reporting environment
• Experience leveraging AI tools for financial analysis, forecasting, and process automation
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations
• Ability to identify, research, and solve financial problems
• Ability to be a team player, work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing requirements
• Ability to learn new tools, processes, and technologies, and follow instructions and guidelines with supervision
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with government contracting
• Experience with SharePoint or other collaboration tools, and financial modeling or budgeting tools
