Program Intern, Data Governance

Pilot Company is an industry-leading network of travel centers and energy and logistics provider. The company is seeking a Data Governance Intern to analyze data, build dashboards and presentations, monitor data quality, and support data lifecycle management and governance initiatives.

What you'll do:

• Partner with the business: Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and understand their needs
• Drive Data Governance & Visualization: Map and develop end-to-end flows of data from core source systems into interactive visualizations and executive presentations, translating complex process data into clear business insights
• Visualize & Monitor Data Quality: Build dashboards and visual metrics to monitor data accuracy, flag anomalies, and ensure business stakeholders can rely on high-integrity data
• Data Lifecycle Management & Compliance: Assist in tracking and managing data across its entire lifecycle to ensure processes remain compliant with internal governance frameworks and external regulatory standards
• Contribute to key initiatives: Help accelerate the team's delivery and assist with Pilot’s strategic initiatives by handling essential tasks

What they're looking for:

• A rising or graduating senior pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree in Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proficiency in SQL and MS Office
• Experience building out visualizations is also essential
• A curious and collaborative team player who is open to hearing other perspectives and enjoys building solutions with others
