About this role
Pilot Company is an industry-leading network of travel centers and energy and logistics services provider. The Program Intern, Dealer Strategy will support dealer relationship management, strategic network expansion, value-added service development, financial modeling, and market analysis while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
What you'll do:
- Drive Strategic Expansion Planning: Lead the development of a comprehensive strategic plan to model and integrate gasoline sales across our existing dealer network, expanding beyond our traditional diesel focus
- Enhance Dealer Relationships & Operations: Support day-to-day relationship management and operational success for approximately 190 dealer locations across the U.S. and Canada, helping identify and launch new value-added services
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Merchandising, Procurement, and Marketing teams to execute network growth initiatives—with potential opportunities to travel alongside the team to field locations
- Financial Modeling & Market Analysis: Build financial and operational models to evaluate network growth, forecast profitability, and optimize dealer network performance
- Learn from Industry Leaders: Work side-by-side with experienced strategy and operations leaders who will provide hands-on mentorship, executive exposure, and real-world project ownership
What they're looking for:
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related business discipline
- Strong financial modeling experience and advanced Excel skills are essential
- A self-starter with a high level of professional maturity who takes complete ownership of projects and runs with them independently
- Strong collaborative skills with the confidence to reach out across teams, ask timely questions, and build effective working relationships with internal partners and field leadership
- A desire to learn and an eagerness to contribute to a collaborative environment

- This is a full-time, in-person internship running from June 7 – August 13, 2027
- You'll be working alongside our team in our Knoxville headquarters, where you'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and experience the full scope of life at Pilot Company
- Familiarity with AI tools and capabilities is a plus
