Programmer Analyst

Using specifications provided by senior developers, develop, implement, modify and maintain business, accounting and management information systems. ## Principal Accountabilities Typical duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment or contract. - Analyzes code to find causes of errors and revise programs. - Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents and maintains programs. - Performs modifications to and maintenance of operational programs and procedures. - Identifies areas that could be improved by automated systems and participates in the development efforts for automated systems. - Prepares charts and diagrams to assist in problem analysis, and submits recommendations for solution. - Assists with user support of business applications and with the investigation of system requirements. - Provides technical support and consulting services on systems software and application development to developers and users. ## Knowledge & Skills - Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems. - Knowledge of web application development and relational databases, preferably with C# and MS-SQL specifically. - Excellent data communication and people skills. - Current on the latest technological advances within industry. ## Experience & Education - Typically zero (0) to four (4) years’ experience as a programmer analyst. - Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline. Two (2) years of experience in related field may be substituted for each year of the four (4) years of college. - Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization: NAC-I T1 Public Trust. U.S. citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at the work location. ## Physical Requirements/Working Environment - Works in a normal office environment with controlled temperature and lighting conditions.
