Project Engineer - Electrical

Munters is a global leader in climate solutions for mission-critical processes, providing efficient and sustainable systems for controlling humidity, temperature, and energy use. The Project Engineer will design custom HVAC solutions for data centers and commercial clients, develop electrical drawings and bills of material, support production and testing, and contribute to new product development and continuous improvement.

What you'll do:

• Develops custom air handler solutions by reviewing detailed job specifications, selecting components, generating electrical drawings, and create bills of material
• Support production processes in order to eliminate any questions, concerns, and/or roadblocks during manufacture
• Supports new product development with conceptual designs, layouts, and bill of materials as needed
• Supports continuous improvement and cost reduction activities through improved product design / design for manufacturing (DFM)
• Assists with production and/or customer testing of completed systems
• Commercializes new control solutions such as sensors, actuators, VFDs, and networking
• Provides Electrical Engineering expertise and/or support to other departments as needed
• Very customer centric

• Minimum B.S. In Electrical Engineering or in Electrical Engineering Technology
• Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer
• Experience with selection of components used in HVAC applications using computer programs
• Previous experience with product testing, troubleshooting, and HVAC control strategies
• Ability to generate drawings with Solidworks/AutoCAD or similar programs
• Knowledge of safety standards
