Project Management Intern (2027)

The Indiana Biosciences Research Institute (IBRI) is a translational medicine institute dedicated to advancing life sciences and improving human health. The Project Management Intern will support project coordination, operations, research administration, and strategy by organizing teams, tracking progress, preparing updates, and coordinating activities across cross-functional groups.

What you'll do:

• Help create timelines, agendas, meeting notes, and action item trackers
• Support coordination across research, operations, finance, grants, and partner teams
• Prepare simple status updates, dashboards, and summaries
• Track deadlines, risks, and follow-up items
• Organize project files and shared resources

What they're looking for:

• Enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program in project management, business, operations, life sciences, public health, communications, or a related field
• Interest in project coordination, operations, research administration, strategy, or nonprofit management
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to track details, deadlines, and deliverables
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with project management tools is preferred
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Commitment to the full duration of the internship
• Familiarity with project management tools

Benefits:

• A stipend of $9,650 for the full program, disbursed in bi-weekly installments on or before the 7th and 22nd of each month
