Project Management Internship

Talcott Financial Group offers a ten-week summer internship program that immerses students in real-life business challenges. The Project Management Intern will support the Portfolio Management Office in planning and executing projects, governing the enterprise project portfolio, analyzing project data, and improving project management processes and relationships.

What you'll do:

• Support the PMO in maintaining and updating the project portfolio dashboard
• Assist in collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing project data across multiple business units
• Prepare executive summaries and visual reports for senior leadership
• Participate in project review meetings and document key outcomes
• Collaborate with project managers to gather status updates and risk assessments
• Create materials for portfolio health reviews, metrics, and roadmap planning
• Learn about our project management processes and tools to assist with improvements
• Partner with Portfolio Management team to develop continuous feedback mechanisms and improvements to operating structure, tools, and processes
• Organize team events, training, and guest speakers

• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel is required
• Our preferred candidate is a rising junior or senior Bachelor's Degree candidate or graduate student, with a field of study focused on management, finance, marketing, or technology
