Project Manager Intern

Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager Intern to gain hands-on experience in construction project management. The role supports project planning, progress tracking, team coordination, compliance, risk management, field and office coordination, and safety while developing project management skills through mentorship.

What you'll do:

• Assist project managers with scheduling, budgeting, and quality control tasks across active construction projects
• Help develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and progress reports
• Work with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and vendors to support project success
• Assist in monitoring project plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements
• Help identify and track project risks, and support the implementation of mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with project teams and crew members to keep tasks moving effectively and efficiently
• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to help maintain a safe work environment
• Take advantage of mentorship and hands-on learning opportunities to build project management knowledge and skills

What they're looking for:

• Currently enrolled in a technical school, college, or university program in engineering, construction management, or a related field
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow instructions, manage multiple tasks, and work well as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Punctuality and reliability are essential
• Basic knowledge of project management concepts (scheduling, budgeting) is a plus but not required
