You'll collaborate across engineering, sales, customer service, and global manufacturing to build and manage supply chains that power new product launches and keep our products moving. From forecasting demand to coordinating production schedules, your contributions will be felt across the entire business. 

 

Supply Chain opportunities are located in our distribution or production facilities in Austin, TX. 

 

There are a variety of concepts throughout the product lifecycle that you could encounter from day one, such as: 

  • Global supply chain design, management, and optimization for raw materials and finished goods

  • Capacity planning and global process improvement (Enterprise Resource Planning)

  • Demand forecasting and optimization of inventory/warehouse utilization (Material Requirements Planning)

  • Risk management and mitigation strategies

  • Statistical analysis to support data-driven decision making

  • Supplier relationship/quality management and product cost analysis 

  • Ownership of supply chains for new product introduction or existing product delivery, including materials procurement and manufacturing logistics

  • Frequent interfacing with engineering, customer service, and sales to develop business plans and forecasts

  • Multi-disciplinary collaboration including, but not limited to, supply chain design reviews, facility transfer management, global master production schedule reviews, and delivery performance analysis.

  • Coordination with global manufacturing facilities and provide logistics support for high-volume production 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or equivalent

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 for each degree earned

  • 0-3 years' experience in a related field

  • You are authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor you for any work visa, such as an H-1B, either immediately or at any time in the future. Lutron does not offer work visa sponsorship for this position

  • Willingness and ability to work on-site 5 days per week
