Project Value Analyst

Fluence is a global market leader delivering intelligent energy storage and optimization software for renewables and storage. The Project Value Analyst will support the development of investment analytics by building financial models, conducting analysis, and enabling deal teams with robust valuation outputs.

What you'll do:

• Build and maintain IRR, NPV, and TCO models for energy storage projects
• Conduct scenario analysis, sensitivities, and performance benchmarking
• Support development of standardized financial modeling templates
• Gather, validate, and structure inputs (pricing, costs, performance, market data)
• Ensure consistency across models and analyses
• Document assumptions and modeling logic
• Complete deep dive on key items or factors, including a specific market or cost related time
• Provide modeling support for active deals and proposals
• Prepare outputs for internal reviews and customer-facing materials
• Support senior team members in complex valuation analyses
• Improve model usability, automation, and scalability
• Support integration of financial models into commercial tools

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in financial modeling or analytics
• Strong Excel skills (required)
• Experience with Python/SQL a plus
• Exposure to energy or infrastructure projects
