Proprietary Forex and Crypto Trader

Maverick Currencies, the foreign exchange, metals, and cryptocurrency division of Maverick Trading, is seeking self-directed traders to trade firm capital through a structured, rules-based program. The role involves executing trades, managing risk, developing and refining trading plans, maintaining performance records, monitoring market conditions, and participating in training and coaching.

What you'll do:

• Trade firm-funded accounts in forex, metals, and cryptocurrency markets according to an approved written trading plan
• Operate within the firm's risk framework, including daily and maximum drawdown limits and position sizing rules
• Build, document, test, and refine a trading plan in coordination with an assigned coach
• Maintain a detailed trade journal and submit performance reports for periodic review
• Monitor price action, market structure, and macroeconomic releases relevant to the instruments you trade
• Participate in scheduled coaching sessions, trade reviews, and team calls
• Complete the firm's training and evaluation program before trading at full capital allocation

What they're looking for:

• Eligible to contract as an independent contractor in the United States, Canada, or the United Kingdom
• Working knowledge of technical analysis, including chart structure, support and resistance, and common indicators
• Demonstrated ability to follow a defined process consistently under volatile conditions
• Comfortable with 100% remote work, regular written reporting, and receiving direct coaching feedback
• Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated home workspace available during your chosen market hours
• Prior trading experience in forex, metals, or cryptocurrency is preferred
• Familiarity with platforms such as TradingView or Interactive Brokers TWS is helpful but not required
