Purchasing Analyst Internship 2027

Allan Myers is a heavy civil construction and materials production contractor. The Purchasing Analyst will support purchasing processes, manage procurement data, coordinate with vendors and operations teams, and help execute cost savings and procurement improvement initiatives.

What you'll do:

• Executes and manages purchase orders, vendor onboarding, and invoice resolution for materials operations
• Supports day-to-day purchasing functions, ensuring efficient and timely service to internal stakeholders
• Maintains accurate purchasing and spending data; assists with reporting, analysis, and opportunity tracking
• Partners with operations teams to understand needs and ensure effective vendor coordination and delivery
• Assists with procurement project execution, including sourcing initiatives, contract renewals, and continuous improvement efforts
• Communicates with suppliers to request quotes, verify pricing, and maintain up-to-date records
• Helps identify and implements cost savings opportunities and supplier performance metrics

What they're looking for:

• This position requires in-person work at our regional office
• 0–2 years of experience or desire to grow in purchasing, supply chain, operations, or a related field
• Willingness to travel to our various locations as needed to support projects and build relationships
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Proficient in Excel and Power BI and use of pivot tables and comfortable working with data and purchasing systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work cross-functionally with field and office teams
• Driven, dependable, and ready to grow within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
