Quality Analyst Co-Op

Amsted Rail is a provider of integrated bogie systems for the heavy haul freight market. The Quality Analyst Co-Op will support the green sand foundry process and assist with product quality, metrology, non-destructive testing, and product throughput. The student will complete one major ongoing project along with daily tasks within the casting quality-engineering group while working part time during school.

What you'll do:

• Apply their creativity and vision to our green sand foundry process
• Assist with technical issues relating to quality of products, metrology, non-destructive testing, and manage throughput of products
• Tackle one ongoing major project, along with daily tasks within the casting quality-engineering group

What they're looking for:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or Engineering Management w/ Industrial Engineering focus – 3.0 GPA minimum
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work from written or verbal instructions
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• CAD software experience
