Quantitative Trading Intern Summer 2027

Flow Traders is looking for entrepreneurial, competitive, and analytical students to join our New York Trading team as a Trading Intern for Summer 2027. The trading internship will take place over nine weeks in our New York office, allowing interns to explore their interest in trading and gain exposure to Flow Traders’ role in the financial markets.

What you'll do:

• Learn directly from industry leaders on the New York trading floor
• Participate in structured educational courses and hands-on trading simulations
• Develop and test trading strategies through project-based work using quantitative models and trading tools
• Collaborate with Traders and Quantitative Researchers to solve real-world trading challenges
• Gain in-depth exposure to Flow Traders’ core business and market-making activities
• Engage in intern events and become an integral part of our collaborative “One Team” culture

What they're looking for:

• Candidate for a Bachelor's degree studying in the United States with a major in Finance, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics or related
• Demonstrable interest in trading and global financial markets
• Excellent mental math, quantitative and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Excel and an affinity for scientific programming or development languages
• Ability to think on your feet, reason logically and deliver under pressure
• Innovative and creative with an entrepreneurial and competitive mindset
• Attracted to a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment that offers great challenges and rewards
• Class of 2028, preferred
