Radiation Oncologist

Job Overview

As a Radiation Oncologist, you’ll work with medical oncologists, surgeons, and other medical experts to coordinate patient care. You’ll conduct and supervise the use of ionizing radiations in treatment and exercise command of medical units as provided by law and regulation. You’ll perform staff functions in health support for commanders at all levels, conduct medical research on diseases of military importance, and participate in graduate medical education. Additionally, you’ll train other personnel and serve unique duty positions for the therapeutic radiation service and the medical school faculty.

Requirements

• Be a U.S. citizen by the time you commission as an Officer
• 21 to 42 Years Old
• Advanced Degree in Your Medical Field
• License to Practice Medicine
• Eligible for a Secret Security Clearance
• Medically and Physically Fit
• In Good Moral Standing
