RDMA Network Software Development Engineer Graduate (High Speed Network) - 2026 Start (PhD)

ByteDance develops technology products and global network infrastructure that support high-scale digital services. The RDMA Network Software Development Engineer Graduate will design and develop high-speed networking technologies and build software and tools to improve the reliability and availability of high-speed network infrastructure.

What you'll do:

• Design and development of high-speed network technologies in ByteDance
• Build softwares and tools to improve the reliability and availability of high-speed network infrastructure

What they're looking for:

• Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a PhD degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Proficiency in one or several mainstream programming languages including but not limited to: C/C++, Python, Go
• Passion in high-speed IP networking, hardware-software interaction, and hardware offloading technologies
• Familiar with RDMA/RoCE network protocol is a plus
• Experience in developing software systems for large-scale data center networks or distributed systems is a plus
